The  O P E N   H O U S E  Furniture  team had the opportunity to work on the restaurant refresh for the Port Macquarie Golf Club.

The brief was to provide more comfortable seating, reduce the amount of noise transfer and to bring the space to life.

Our solution was a 'biophilic' design concept that centred around bringing the outdoors inside - taking advantage of the floor to ceiling windows and the spectacular aspect and views over the golf course and fairways.

We had our best selling NAMUKA dining chairs manufactured in a commercially appropriate synthetic rattan finish along with an easy-care  and hygeinic linen- look vinyl seat pad. We also customised our successful LUND range of table in three sizes to make sure the restaurant had maximum flexibility in seating and table configurations throughout the space.

Finally, we introduced a lush, organic element with planters, hanging ferns and foliage to create that exotic biophilic atmosphere.
